ONE WATCHFUL BUNNY

Under the gorse one bunny keeps watch

Nibble, nibbling, quietly sniffing the wind.

This one bunny no-one will catch

Or his brothers and uncles or family find

For one bunny watching will alert his kind.

About Julia

Julia lives in a very old stone house in a village in a green, mythical country where it rains a lot in winter, right on the edge of Middle Earth. She has green eyes and very long hair that once was red. She is very fond of kangaroos, rabbits, stray cats and hedgehogs although none of them share her house just now. Julia likes long walks in the rain without an umbrella, planting herbs and roses in her garden and sitting on a park bench at lunch time thinking. She has a grandson who calls her Ogg and two granddaughters who call her Eyaya (which is Greek for grandmother). They all live in the Antipodes so Julia doesn't see them very often. So she writes stories ...
